Philip Keller joins IEEE Magnetic Society Standards Committee.

We are pleased to announce that our colleague Philip Keller has been appointed Chair of the Technical Subcommittee on Sensors, Communications, Instrumentations, and Measurements of the IEEE Magnetic Society Standards Committee (MG/SC). This is a prestigious appointment that recognizes his expertise and leadership in the field of magnetic sensing and instrumentation. As the Chair, he will play a critical role in developing and maintaining standards that guide the development and use of magnetic sensors and related technologies.

Philip brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Before joining Metrolab in 2003, he worked as a senior manager in Ascom, as a researcher in ultrasound medical imaging, and for Microsoft, Boeing, and several start-up companies. He holds Master’s degrees in Physics and International Management. In addition, Philip is a talented science mentor, as demonstrated by his video tutorials on magnetic measurement technologies.

We congratulate Philip on this achievement and are confident that his extensive knowledge and skills will make valuable contributions to the IEEE Magnetic Society Standards Committee. We look forward to seeing the impact of his leadership in the development of future magnetic sensing and instrumentation standards.
