Model 1426-thin NMR Pulsed-Wave Probes
PT2026 accessory
Description
Designed for the PT2026 NMR Precision Teslameter, the Model 1426 probes provide unprecedented precision using the Pulsed-Wave detection principle.
Passive head
The new “1.5 mm thick remote measurement head” form factor fits into small gaps and is ideal for high-radiation environments. The standard length of the remote-head cable is 50 cm; custom lengths may be available, depending on the probe range.
A single connector for the RF and other signals makes it easy to plug and unplug.
Extended range
You will understand that we cannot fit a vial of heavy water in such a thin probe. Therefore, we are constrained to synthetic rubber samples and ranges. We offer four standard probes ranging from one hundred and ninety milli-Teslas to ten point five Teslas. The range minimum and maximum values in the following table are guaranteed values; each probe is individually programmed with its actual usable range.
Model designation | Range minimum (T) | Range maximum (T) | Sample diameter, material |
1426T-0.19-0.58 | 0.19 | 0.58 | 3.6 mm, Hydrogen / synthetic rubber |
1426T-0.45-1.50 | 0.45 | 1.50 | 3.0 mm, Hydrogen / synthetic rubber |
1426T-1.4-4.2* | 1.4 | 4.2 | 3.0 mm, Hydrogen / synthetic rubber |
1426T-3.5-10.5* | 3.5 | 10.5 | 1.8 mm, Hydrogen / natural rubber |
*subject to change, ranges to be confirmed.
The electronics are housed in a “Metrolab standard ” copper tube, familiar from the PT2026 model 1326 probes. The dimensions are 231 x 16 x 12 mm3:
The dimensions of the measurement head are 179.0 x 9.4 x 1.5 mm3:
The standard cable length is 10 m. Custom lengths are available upon request. Alternatively, all probes can be used with a model 3026 extension cable.
