Update January 2016: The webinar has now been withdrawn from the Physics World web site. Please contact us if you are interested in this topic.

On September 17, 2014, Metrolab gave a webinar on NMR magnetometers, including the introduction of the all-new PT2026.

This webinar was part of the IOP webinar series (Institute of Physics, publisher of Physics World). The outline of the talk was as follows:

Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is the “gold standard” for magnetometry, with precision of under 1 ppm and zero drift. During this webinar you will learn about:
– the principles, applications and limitations of this astounding measurement technique;
– Metrolab’s family of NMR magnetometers, which, since their introduction in 1986, have established themselves as unrivalled reference instruments for standards and research laboratories such as CERN, and production tools for MRI system manufacturers such as Philips, Siemens and GE;
– the latest member of this instrument family, a flexible and modern laboratory instrument that pushes back the key limitations of NMR magnetometers by nearly an order of magnitude: range, resolution, speed, field inhomogeneity and probe size.
